Welcome to our sewing classes section. If you are interested in learning how to sew or embroider for family or for business, you have come to right place. We offer a full assortment of classes dedicated to getting you up to speed on the latest sewing techniques and embroidery techniques. Check out the various classes print them off and give us a call when you are ready to get started.
May 2014 Classes
Project: Anita Goodesigns workshop quillow
Dates: Thursday 1st Saturday 3rd Tuesday 6th or Wednesday 7th
Kit fee: $17
Supplies: 9 yes nine sheets of Floriani No Show Mesh Stabilizer. If you bring your roll I will show you how to conserve your stabilizer. You will need a good variety of Embroidery thread, beige sewing thread (no Coats and Clark ) with a filled bobbin. You will need a rotary cutter, ruler, scissors, pins, spray adhesive and your 5 x 7 hoop. That’s it. No need to bring the whole basic supply list.
ATTENTION: Would like to come to classes without bringing your machine and all those supplies?

Beginning in June we will offer the Anita Goodesign workshop projects to everyone. SPREAD the word.

Time: 5:30 -7:00 I will always try to keep the demo within a 1 ½ -2 hrs.
Snacks and drinks will be available to tie you over.
Cost: $20.00 includes the entire workshop packet. You will receive a discount on purchased Anitagoodesigns! I ONLY ASK YOU SIGH UP AND PRE-PAY FOR YOUR WORKSHOP PACKET BEFORE THE 15th OF MAY. OTHERWISE I CAN’T GARRENTEE YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PACKET ON TIME.

Supplies: You will need 5 different but blending 100% cotton fabrics, washed, dried and ironed.
Thread to match.
Reverse Applique Everyone is welcome regardless of machine
Date: Tuesday May 13th
Time: 2:00 – 4:00
This is a hands on embroidery class, but if you just want to sit in you can. Everyone must own the Reverse Applique Design pack . If you don’t own it and would like to order it at a 25% off reg. price you may do so. Orders must be place by May 7th. Must sigh up by May 7th.
All embroidery and sewing combo machines are welcome. You must bring your disk pack with you and check back for a full list of supplies if you wish to sew. If your machine is not a Babylock or Brother and it reads a USB flash drive, please bring one or you’re A B cord that connects to your machine to a computer.
Call me if you would like a class on your software or machine. I need at least 5 to hold a regular class .
Or I can do a private class.

DO NOT FORGET YOUR POWER CORD, FOOT CONTROL AND SEWING FEET. We do not have these to loan.
Class and Club etiquette
Please be set up and ready to sew by class time
NO perfume or scented lotions.
Cell phones have to be turned to vibrate and answered out of the class room!
If you chew gum, please do it quietly.
Classes fill fast sometime creating a waiting list. If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your slot to someone else. Once a kit is cut, it is yours and we can no longer transfer money from one class to another.
Your Kit may be picked up after class. We hold kits for 3 months after a class.
As hard as we try we can not please everyone with a project, color, fabric etc.
Remember this is a learning process and not a pleasing contest.
